Haydn Bateman is a young professional Classical Guitarist based in London. He studies at the Royal College of Music, London. Haydn attended Chetham’s School of Music, Manchester, for six years, studying Classical Guitar under Wendy Jackson. Here Haydn performed in concerts as a soloist and in various ensembles including guitar duos, trios, and larger ensembles, such as the National Youth Guitar Ensemble. He has also worked with vocalists and flautists.

Some of the highlights of Haydn’s Classical Guitar career so far include a performance on ‘Dragons Den’ at the BBC studios in Manchester, winning a £2000 award from the ‘Awards for Young Musicians’ charity, and performances at the Royal Festival Hall, ( London ), and the Bridgewater Hall, ( Manchester ).

He has performed Classical Guitar, alongside the Internationally acclaimed Classical Guitarist, Milos Karadaglic, at Universal Studios, who described Haydn as, ‘a superbly talented young classical guitarist with a special and unique touch’.

Haydn is available to give Classical Guitar recitals or to provide background music for weddings and other events in London and the surrounding areas.
